Down below is my experience in education, internships, and work. It defines the journey I’ve taken so far in my life. Within each part I will describe the takeaways, the things I've learned, and explain the impact these jobs/clubs/academia’s had on me.
Education
2013-2017
High School
Academy of Urban leadership was the high school I attended. I graduated in 2017 in the top 10 of my class. Even though academically I was prepared for college at the time I had no plans for what my future career would be. Regardless I always tried to excel in my classes and prepared myself to explore the different career avenues I would enjoy.
2017-2020
Middlesex County College
For my first two and a half years of college, I attended Middlesex County College. It was here that I explored various fields and participated in club activities. During this time I found myself gaining an Interest in the field of communications and the various opportunities it offered. Unfortunately, I found this love far too late and graduated with an associate's in General Arts.
Rutger's University
After MCC I transferred to Rutgers and pursued my interest in communications. It was here that I gained a better understanding of the field and learned more about the various jobs within it. During the later half of covid, I took a hiatus from college but returned ready to learn. It was when I returned that I became more involved in the Scarlet PR club and I joined the Rutger MCM 5-year program.

Quo Vadis
Quo Vadis was the Middlesex County College Newspaper club. Here I collaborated with other students to write and publish a weekly newspaper. My two major roles within the club were as a writer and layout designer.
2019-2020
Blue Colt Radio
Blue Colt Radio was the Middlesex County College radio station. It was here where I would get involved with doing some radio recordings and read local ads in between the songs. Here I had the freedom to express myself creatively over a microphone and run my own pre-recorded radio segment.
Scarlet PR
Scarlet PR is a Rutgers University student-run PR club. This club is organized in a hybrid model, half virtual and half in person. I attended the virtual sections and gained a better understanding of the Pr field and learned from Professionals in the field.

The Syndicate
The Syndicate is a Music, comedy, and entertainment marketing Firm. I am currently interning in the field of PR. I am remotely working with the PR team and gaining first-hand experience in the field. My job is to get clients media coverage while utilizing pitches and press releases to build the campaign’s around our client’s products/songs/shows/ etc.

Shoprite
I worked at Shoprite for four years and was a cashier for 3. As a cashier, I enhanced my people and communication skills. During my final year, I transitioned into the role of a produce clerk where I worked in a team environment to get the job done.
Fed Ex
FedEx is my current job where I help facilitate the moving of packages from one door to another. I work individually but in a group setting where we are all responsible for helping the warehouse run by transporting the trailer’s from our yard to the loading docks and vice versa.
