In this page I will highlight some of the valuable classes I have taken and what these classes have taught me. Each and every one of these classes has helped build my skills and expanded my knowledge.

Public Speaking

Taught by Anthony Mack

In this class, I created speeches that inform and persuade an audience. This class improved my public speaking skills. This class also taught me about collaborating in a hybrid environment and adapting to conflicting situations.

Principles Of PR

Taught by Mark Beal

In this class, I learned the essential elements of Public Relations. I made Press releases, wrote pitches, created media lists, and did research on a campaign.

Structure of Information

Taught by Lara Baala

In this class, I learned about framing and the way media use words, visuals, and phrases to create a narrative. I also made an Infographic and learned how to visually show data and information.

Strategic Presentation

Taught by Joseph Dziuba

In this class, I designed my own website that solved or dealt with an ongoing issue. I also learned to collaborate with other students to create a podcast that combines all of our websites and ties into a nonprofit.

Communication Research

Taught by Dr. Lisa MikeSell

In this class, I learned the essentials of reading and understanding research. I also designed various research plans through this course.

Digital Capstone in DCIM

Taught by Mary Chayko

This class is the final part of my DCIM minor. In this class, I am creating this website to showcase the various projects, classes, and experiences that create my brand.
